About

I am Jonatan Pedersen, a software consultant based in Copenhagen. Over 25 years I have worked as a founder, CTO, engineering manager, and architect, and I remain hands-on with code.

Much of my work has been in domains where failure carries real consequences. At Hedia I worked on a class IIb diabetes-management device. At Practio I built systems used to vaccinate hundreds of thousands of people during the COVID-19 pandemic. At Debitoor and SumUp I developed invoicing and accounting software for small businesses across Europe. Earlier, at Yahoo and Kelkoo, I worked on product and search for online shopping comparison.

I now work independently, typically with teams operating under regulatory constraints, scaling quickly, or facing problems that call for experienced engineering judgement.
